Shaq Scholars receive a full scholarship to Campus's two-year associate degree programs. This selective program offers both in-person immersions and virtual events designed to build leadership, business acumen, a strong network, and personal growth. Shaq Scholars participate in the program alongside their Campus coursework.

Campus is a new kind of two-year college built for ambitious young people looking to learn from world-class professors without going into debt. Campus delivers live online instruction from respected professors who also teach at colleges and universities such as Stanford, UCLA, and Princeton. Classes are online and live to allow students to interact with their professors, TAs, and classmates. Students also receive wraparound support including on-demand tutoring, personal success coaching, and free tech (like a laptop) if needed. Upon graduation, students then have the opportunity to transfer into our partner schools, such as Butler University and Arizona State University.*

*Transfer of credits is subject to the policies and approval of the receiving institution.

If selected, you won't pay a dime out of pocket for tuition. First, you'll apply for the 2025-26 FAFSA to see if you're eligible for any federal financial aid. From there, the scholarship will cover everything else. Campus will also pay for all travel expenses tied to the program's immersive experiences so that you can focus on making the most of the program.

Submit the Shaq Scholars online application, which includes a short video submission. Finalists will be invited to participate in a required interview with Campus staff. All applicants will be notified of whether or not they are accepted via email.

Yes. In order to be eligible for the Shaq Scholars program, you must be accepted into a Campus Scholars associate degree program.

You must be eligible to enroll in our Fall 2025 cohort in order to apply.

You must be 18 or older to apply.

The Shaq Scholars program is only available for students applying to, and eligible to enroll in, Campus.

Applications for the Fall 2025 quarter are due by Friday, September 12. Classes start on Monday, October 6. Shaq Scholars applicants need to submit the Shaq Scholars application and Campus application by September 1.

We will select up to 5 Shaq Scholars for the Fall 2025 program.
